Job summary

The Department of Psychology at the University of Mississippi seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology with child-focused research and clinical interests to grow our graduate program.

We invite scholars working in neurodevelopmental disorders, feeding/eating disorders, developmental psychopathology, and childhood emotional disorders. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate courses and supervise students.

Qualifications

• PhD in Clinical Psychology completed with internship in an APA-accredited program.
• Ability to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses and supervise clinical trainees.
• A record of research productivity and potential for external funding.
• Willingness to contribute to program development and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate psychology courses.
• Mentor and supervise graduate students in research and practicum settings.
• Develop and maintain an externally funded research program.
• Collaborate with colleagues across psychology to advance program excellence.
