Assistant Professor Clinical Practice, Ob-Gyn Gynecology

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch John Sealy School of Medicine in Galveston is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice in the Gynecology Division specializing in gynecological care. This is a unique opportunity to join a strong team of academic faculty dedicated to providing comprehensive women’s health care while training the next generation of obstetricians and gynecologists.

The successful candidate will practice primarily at UTMB’s Main Campus on Galveston Island and the UTMB Clear Lake Campus, with the possibility of providing care 1-2 days per week at one of UTMB’s off-island clinics. This position offers the ability to provide full-scope obstetrics and gynecologic care with a focus on gynecology and gynecologic surgery, while contributing to resident education and faculty practice.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

• Candidates must pass the ABOG Qualifying (written) Examination before starting and plan to sit for and pass the Certifying (oral) Examination within 1-3 years of starting.
