Job summary

Qualifications

  • Earned doctorate in Developmental psychology or closely related field prior to appointment.
  • Strong foundation and training in developmental theory and research.
  • Commitment to high-quality undergraduate education with ability to teach diverse undergraduates.
  • Evidence of scholarship related to child development and well‑being of children/families.
  • Interest in preparing undergraduates to work with diverse children, adolescents, and families.
  • Ability to balance teaching, scholarship, and service.
  • Demonstrated potential for integrating technology into instruction.
  • Commitment to working with students from intersecting marginalized groups.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses and contribute to research and service to the university.
  • Maintain office hours, participate in committees, and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Engage in scholarly publication and professional service.
  • Support department and campus‑wide activities and mentor students.
