Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine.

Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities (including journal club) within the division.

Clinical responsibilities may include up to 16 weeks as the attending on service for acute inpatient rehabilitation. Responsibilities while on service will include daily patient visits as well as directing weekly team conferences and family team meetings as indicated.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include developing collaborative and independent research programs related to pediatric rehabilitation, co-supervision of trainees and research staff, coordinating NIH-funded grant efforts with local, national and international collaborators, and participation in writing grants, reports and manuscripts.
