The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for an Assistant Professor – Cardiac Surgeon. The candidate will be expected to provide inpatient/outpatient medical care services primarily at the University of Colorado Hospital. The candidate will also provide independent clinical services for patients at other affiliated hospital sites including the Denver VAMC. The candidate will be expected to provide clinical services for heart and lung transplantation. The candidate will also be expected to participate in the development of protocols for the care of cardiothoracic surgery patients. The candidate may also be asked to participate in marketing and networking opportunities with referring providers.

HIRING RANGE: $445,000 to $500,000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
