The Department of Radiology of the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans seeks an affable physician for an academic faculty position in the Interventional Radiology division at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). Our department is dedicated to excellence in patient care, education and scholarly activity.

Additional Position Information

LSU Radiology provides multi-modality radiology services for University Medical Center – New Orleans. This is a new state of the art facility supporting 350+ beds and the only Level 1 Trauma Center in South Louisiana, the Norman E. McSwain, Jr, MD, Spirit of Charity Trauma Center. We are a collegial group looking for an Interventional Radiologist to join our 4-physician Interventional Radiology team to make it a team of 5. Responsibilities will include all aspects of Interventional Radiology – procedures, outpatient clinical care and inpatient clinical care. Call will include weeknights, weekends and holidays, with ample time off. This is a wonderful opportunity for an Interventionalist to practice cutting edge Interventional Radiology in a stimulating environment. International candidates with exceptional training and background or seeking J-1 waiver are encouraged to apply.
