Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) is seeking an Adult Psychiatry faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor on a non-tenure, clinical track to serve the New Orleans community. The candidate will provide clinical services across private, hospital-based, and FQHC settings while supervising multiple trainees.

Required MD or equivalent and Louisiana licensure; Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry is expected by start date.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Board Certified or eligible (or equivalent) in Psychiatry; Licensed to practice in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities by start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical psychiatric services in the New Orleans area across private, hospital-based, and FQHC sites.
• Supervise multiple trainees as part of a clinical faculty role.

The Department of Psychiatry of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) School of Medicine at New Orleans is seeking an Adult Psychiatry faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) to work in the New Orleans Area. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in clinical work at various sites: private, hospital based, and FQHC. Confidence in supervising multiple trainees is preferred.
