Job summary

LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans seeks an enthusiastic pulmonary/critical care physician for the non-tenure clinical faculty track at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will provide outpatient pulmonary hypertension care at University Medical Center – New Orleans as well as inpatient pulmonary and critical care service staffing.

Experience is preferred, but junior candidates with strong training are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• ABIM board certified/board eligible in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine preferred.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana prior to start date.

Position Summary

The Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care & Allergy/Immunology at the LSU Health Sciences Center – New Orleans seeks an enthusiastic pulmonary / critical care physician with a particular interest in pulmonary hypertension to join our faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). The successful candidate will provide outpatient pulmonary hypertension care at University Medical Center – New Orleans as well as inpatient pulmonary and critical care service staffing.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our faculty. Experience is preferred, but junior faculty with excellent training should apply.
