Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field with AI in drug discovery experience.
• Strong publication record with potential for extramural funding and recognition.
• Demonstrated creativity to develop AI-enabled approaches for therapeutic discovery.
• Ability to establish an independent, collaborative, externally funded program and teach/mentor.

Responsibilities

• Establish an independent, externally funded research program at the intersection of AI, drug discovery, and chemical biology.
• Develop and apply AI/ computational methods to address fundamental and translational challenges.
• Build collaborations within the division, college, and AI (X) Hub across OSU research communities.
• Contribute to undergraduate, graduate, and professional education through teaching in related areas.
