Job summary

Y-tec Keylex Toyotetsu Alabama, Inc. (YKTA) is seeking a production planning professional to assist the manager in developing and managing overall production planning activities for the plant.

The role focuses on maximizing customer service, delivery, and production utilization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2–3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, and strong computer skills to support inventory control and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience or training.
• Proficient computer and software skills.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience in a production environment, preferably in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager to develop and manage production planning activities for the plant.
• Ensure on-time delivery of products and support for the team.
• Minimize interruptions to production schedules through effective procurement of parts and materials.
• Assist in planning the operating budget for all areas of accountability.
• Provide training and development for Conveyance team members as required.
• Maintain and develop plant network systems to streamline information and generate reports.
