Job summary

Independence Blue Cross, LLC in Cranbury NJ is seeking an Assistant Product Manager to help evaluate and implement AmeriHealth group products. You will work with Product Managers to address issues and improve product delivery across functions.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a Hybrid work setting, with periodic commuting to Center City Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, communication, related field or equivalent work experience.
• Three (3) years in insurance industry experience in Benefits, Administration, Health Care Management or related area.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Analytical, problem-solving abilities with actionable recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and project management basics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Job description

Assistant Product Manager is responsible for the evaluation and implementation of AmeriHealth group products. Works closely with Product Managers / Sr Product Managers in completing assigned products, coordinating with operating areas to address problems and improving product delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the evaluation, implementation and ongoing management of annual product portfolio.
• Provides support with the evaluation of product performance, market trends and recommends improvement in benefit design, and product administration.
• Recommends process for cross functional implementation to support new or modified products.
• Maintains and supports product documentation and governance materials serving as the source of truth for the product portfolio.
• Works crossfunctionally with various interdependent teams to ensure the product portfolio is compliant, competitive, and critical deadlines are met.
• Supports the product manager in being the SME within the organization for their product portfolio.
• Participates in product related projects and initiatives, contributing analysis, recommendations and execution support
• Develops product knowledge and serves as a resource to internal partners regarding assigned product offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, communication, related field or equivalent work experience.
• Three (3) years in insurance industry experience in the area of Benefits, Administration, Health Care Management or related experience

PLEASE NOTE: This role will be assigned to Cranbury NJ office but will often need to commute to the Center City Philadelphia office on a regular basis.

Independence has implemented a "Hybrid" model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the "Hybrid" model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the TriState Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania
