Job summary

A nonprofit organization that supports service dogs is seeking an Assistant Prison Puppy Program Manager to oversee multiple prison puppy programs. The ideal candidate will have a BA or BS degree, strong skills in puppy training, and experience managing volunteers. Qualifications

• Minimum of BA or BS degree or equivalent, such as a technical degree or certification from a dog training agency.
• 4 years minimum experience in basic puppy training and socialization.
• 2 years minimum experience working with volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 8 prison programs independently across various states.
• Evaluate program dogs at prisons or in the field.
• Provide performance evaluations of prison advisors.
