Job summary

Chesterfield County Public Schools seeks an educational leader to assist the principal in directing instructional programs and staff. This role focuses on administration, curriculum coordination, policy interpretation, and budget oversight.

The successful candidate will guide data-driven efforts to raise student achievement, recruit and assign staff, and uphold division guidelines while working with administrators and families in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Postgraduate Professional license with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision.
• Must have three to five years of successful teaching and/or administrative experience.
• Demonstrated abilities in decision-making, problem analysis, conflict resolution, interpersonal relationships, long range planning and forecasting, and to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering and evaluating instructional programs.
• Lead in-service programs and organizational improvements.
• Supervise teachers and staff; coordinate curriculum development.
• Communicate division policies and guidelines to staff.
• Review data to improve student achievement and staffing.
