Job summary

Silverline Montessori, part of Endeavor Schools, is seeking an Assistant Primary Preschool Teacher to support age-appropriate learning activities and help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom.

The role emphasizes assisting curriculum implementation, organizing materials, supervising meals and naptime, and contributing to a positive learning environment for children.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood development; CDA certification preferred but not required.
• At least 6 months of experience in a certified child development center.
• Experience with the assigned age group and ability to use standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Monitor children’s progress and development.
• Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day.

Are You Qualified?

Whether or not you have experience working in schools, you may be qualified to work with us. The most important quality is that you love working with children. Some of our best educators have come from other fields, including customer service, healthcare, retail, and more!

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree in early childhood development / CDA Certified preferred but not required
• 6 months prior experience working in a certified child development center (1 year preferred).
• Prior experience with the assigned age group.
• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
