A reputable General Contractor in Chattanooga seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in executing construction projects. The role requires approximately 2 years of construction experience, proficiency in MS Project and Excel, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Qualifications
Approximately 2 years of construction experience.
Must be willing to relocate to Chattanooga.
Travel to jobsites required up to 30%.
Responsibilities
Assist in establishing and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
Communicate daily with the project team.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners as needed.
Support the issuance of subcontracts and coordination of subcontractors.
Review, organize, and submit project submittals for approval.
Help coordinate and track material deliveries.
Participate in meetings with city, state, and utility officials for project coordination.
Update and distribute weekly project status reports.
Assist with budget tracking and monthly reporting to management.
Support project closeout activities.
