Job summary

HDR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the Building Engineering Services Group in our Charlotte, NC office. The role focuses on client development and delivery of projects including facilities design for datacenters, office, manufacturing, and tenant upfit.

The successful candidate will manage multi-disciplinary design teams from concept to completion, coordinate work across teams, and travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 5 years related experience required.
• Ability to interact with various design teams and strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams throughout the project lifecycle under supervision of a Project Manager.
• Be responsible for aspects of a small project or a larger project.
• Coordinate workload through project execution, ensuring deliverables on budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Accounting, Operations and Business leadership for periodic reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.
