So Good So You, a Minneapolis-based plant-scale beverage company, seeks an Assistant Plant Manager to lead day-to-day production and the plant’s technical operations, including maintenance and capital projects. The role oversees a 6-person direct-report team (5 Maintenance Technicians and Production Team Leader) and reports to the Director of Operations.

You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and reliability, while partnering with operations and engineering to scale systems as the plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience will be considered
• 6-7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, ideally in food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) production environments
• Proven experience leading teams and, ideally, leading leaders
• Demonstrated experience managing production KPIs such as throughput, yield, OEE, and downtime
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing
• Strong experience with equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement
• Experience leading capital projects, equipment installations, or facility upgrades

Responsabilités

• Provide operational leadership across production and technical functions, ensuring safety, quality, productivity and reliability goals
• Own day-to-day production operations, working hands-on with the floor to meet schedules and standards
• Drive production KPIs such as throughput, yield, and OEE, using data to close gaps
• Directly lead the Production Team Leader and oversee the Maintenance Technician team
• Lead plant engineering and maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance
• Oversee capital projects, equipment upgrades, and vendor coordination
• Establish and manage parts crib infrastructure to minimize cost and ensure availability
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance and champion continuous improvement
• Oversee troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for equipment/process issues
• Support lean initiatives like 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management
• Coach and develop team members and leaders
