Responsibilities

• Direct supervisors and crew leaders in assigned areas of greenhouse.
• Coordinate with receiving on supplies and resource needs.
• Review production schedules and packaging plan with supervisors, communicate labor needs.
• Train and develop supervisors and hourly personnel.
• Prepare and maintain packaging and production reports.
• Ensure use of work instructions and run rates, tracking tools.
• Promote safety and maintain a safe working environment.
• Develop SOPs and work instructions with Continuous Improvement Team.
• Implement SOPs and train staff.
• All other duties as assigned.

Oversee the daily operations of your assigned work cells. Primary responsibilities will be to train, plan, organize, direct, and complete packaging and production orders.

Job Duties

• Direct supervisors and crew leaders in assigned areas of greenhouse
• Communicate with receiving department of supplies, and resource needs
• Review production schedules and packaging plan with supervisors, communicate to Plant Manger labor needs for work cell assignments
• Teach train and develop supervisors and hourly personnel.
• Prepare and maintain packaging and production reports in Microsoft Teams
• Ensure the use of work instructions and run rates, use of tracking tools hour by hour boards
• Maintain and promote Safety activities to provide a safe working environment
• Involved in creating SOP’s and work instructions alongside the Continuous Improvement Team
• Responsible for the implementation of SOP’s and training of the staff
• All other duties as assigned
