A leading manufacturing company in Kansas seeks an Assistant Plant Controller to oversee financial control procedures and support the plant's financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting. This role requires strong interaction with management and the ability to provide sound financial advice.
The Assistant Plant Controller is a key member of the Plant’s leadership team, and the financial leadership of the entire plant. Responsible for maintaining financial control procedures, systems and standards as may be required for the proper performance of the accounting function within the limits of approved company practice. The Assistant Plant Controller is an active resource in keeping the Plant Manager, Plant Controller and other members of the staff apprised of deviations, analyzing performance and bringing best practices to the plant. This position must have a deep understanding of the current plant’s performance and strong interaction with the Plant Controller to make recommendations with quantifications to improve the financial performance of this location.
