Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a Physician Assistant to autonomously and collaboratively treat and manage patients in a primary care setting. The role involves comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and care planning under physician protocols, with emphasis on continuous learning and team collaboration.

The PA will utilize prescriptive authority, perform procedures, and coordinate referrals while adhering to state and federal laws.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical experience functioning in the Physician Assistant role in a primary care setting.
• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant training program and has successfully completed the NCCPA examination.
• Current license to practice in the state; eligible for or hold prescription privileges; BLS certification.

• Develops a care plan within physician-approved protocols to ensure quality patient care.
