Job description: McGovern Automotive Group has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Parts Manager to join us at our Hyundai dealership in Concord!

Responsibilities

  • Support Parts Manager in meeting the established goals for profit and return through wholesale and retail sale of parts
  • Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the dealership
  • Analyze departmental operations and storage layout and revise as needed
  • Clearly and effectively communicate information to dealership personnel as well as a non-technical audience as required
  • Demonstrate proper techniques for stocking, inventory control, customer service, and understand and comply with all federal, state and local regulations that affect the parts department
  • Assist with the collection of past due accounts
  • Select, train, and supervise all employees in the parts department while employing successful staff utilization

Qualifications

  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Reliable, with a positive "team-player" attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail, with at least 2 years of stable, verifiable work history with inventory control and strong leadership skills
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
