Location: 240 Airport Road, Rye Brook, NY, 10604, US

Compensation: $25.00/hour

Position Summary

The Assistant Operations Manager will be part of our airport leadership team, reporting to the General Manager and leading and driving the daily floor operations at your station. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is a hands‑on coach for security, customer service and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Spend 80% of time on the floor in a customer‑facing environment at the airport
• Ensure CLEAR and TSA policy and procedures are conducted with the highest levels of security and integrity
• Monitor and drive security, service & sales on each shift
• Manage shift briefings, debriefs & huddles, as well as any changes, breaks, and rotations
• Coach, mentor, and train the team to meet sales and customer service goals and standards
• Oversee asset control & devices – understand how our technology works & troubleshoot when necessary
• Represent CLEAR throughout the airport, TSA and airline community by building strong stakeholder relationships
• Manage incident prevention and responses
• Attend station management team meetings

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of leadership experience in a customer‑facing operation (e.g. retail, restaurants, hospitality, rental cars)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and influence others
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever‑changing environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
• Proficiency in using technology daily in your work
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to follow policies and procedures set forth by CLEAR, airport, state and federal regulations
• Availability to work a non‑traditional schedule (e.g. weekends, holidays, early mornings, and/or evenings)
• Completion of all required airport and government security screening processes, including SIDA badge eligibility; may also include federal Personnel Security (PerSec) SF‑85 screening, depending on work assignment
