As an Assistant Office Manager, you will be the right hand to your Office Manager and the go-to leader for your team when they are not in the office. You will support your team, solve problems, and make every day run smoother, smarter, and more successful than the last.
Assist the Office Manager in all aspects of daily operations: hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance conversations.
Serve as the acting leader in the Office Manager’s absence, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Ensure the office is patiently ready every day, meeting all service and operational standards.
Handle customer concerns with empathy, efficiency, and professionalism.
Help opticians and technicians deliver top-tier patient care and product recommendations to better the lifestyle of the patient.
Support front office tasks including phone calls, check-in/check-out processes, pretesting, and insurance processing.
Help maintain inventory accuracy and a clean, organized, well-run office.
Drive a culture of positivity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Leadership experience – You’ve managed people or processes and are ready to take the lead.
Tech-savvy and adaptable – Ability to navigate using tablets, digital systems, and multitasking across digital platforms.
High energy and mobility – Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout the office during the day keeping energy and team moral high.
People-first mindset – Outgoing, engaging, and excited to interact with patients all day.
Eager to learn – Open to feedback and growth in a fast-paced environment.
Optical experience is a bonus—but not required. We’ll train the right leader.
Availability to work during office hours (including some Saturdays).
Ability to travel to other locations only when support is needed.
