Assistant Nurse Manager SSU Surgical Stepdown

SSU is a 10-bed unit primarily geared towards adult patients requiring intermediate-intensive care after experiencing surgical intervention or traumatic injury. Typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:3. SSU patients are typically hemodynamically stable. These patients may have extensive surgical wounds, blunt force trauma, neurological injury including cord injury requiring close monitoring, and other hospital internal medicine service line diagnoses.

• BSN Required

• Current South Carolina RN license required
• 2-4 years experience required

Experience: 24 months RN experience with at least 12 months in practice area or equivalent experience; has practiced nursing in the last 3 years; charge nurse experience
