Job summary

Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, part of Temple University Health System, is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager for Radiology Special Procedures. Day shift, full-time, 40 hours per week, 7:30a–4p.

Under the Nurse Manager, you will plan, direct, and evaluate clinical and administrative activities, supervise staff, and ensure optimal nursing service delivery. Requires Bachelor's in Nursing, PA RN license, BLS, and 2 years RN leadership experience; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• PA RN license required; multi-state license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates overall clinical and administrative activities of an assigned nursing unit.
• In the absence of the Nurse Manager, assumes responsibility for staff oversight and patient care on the unit.

This position is full-time 40 hours per week Days 7:30a-4p at Temple University Hospital.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, plans, directs, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates overall clinical and administrative activities of an assigned nursing unit. In the absence of the Nurse Manager, assumes ultimate responsibility for staff oversight and the care of patients on a nursing unit. Supervises, evaluates, guides and counsels nursing staff in their work performance. Ensures that staffing patterns provide optimal delivery of nursing service. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice and principles, methods and techniques involved in providing nursing care, familiarity with organization and function of departments, policies, procedures and regulations and knowledge of principles of leadership and management. Assists in meeting the educational needs of the staff. National certification in Nursing or Healthcare related speciality preferred.
