Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced RN to join our night-shift leadership team. You will oversee venous access and infusion therapies, ensure patient safety, and guide the unit in delivering high-quality care.

Associates degree in nursing is required, with a BSN preferred. Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are mandatory, and prior leadership experience in acute care is highly valued. Join us to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments and adjust care plans.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Educate patients on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.

Job Description

Up to a $15,000 sign on bonus if qualified

• Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.
• Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lead the employees of their unit in the delivery of patient care
• Ability to lead performance improvement initiatives on their assigned unit
• Ability to think critically in relation to the operations of the unit and delivery of patient care

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience. [Preferred]
• 1+ nursing experience within the acute care setting [Preferred]
