Job summary

Hartford Hospital seeks a dedicated registered nurse to provide holistic, quality care in a high-demand unit. You will apply the nursing process and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, cost-effective patient outcomes.

This role requires Connecticut RN licensure, BSN, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience; Women’s Health experience is preferred. You will report to the Unit Manager and may supervise staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required).
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
• One year nursing experience required
• Experience in Women’s Health desired

Responsibilities

• Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families within a unit or service.
• Applies the nursing process within the organization’s Framework for Professional Practice.
• Functions as clinically competent and delegates/supervises work appropriately.
• Reports to Unit Manager.
