Job summary

Festus R-VI School District is seeking an Assistant MS Track Coach for Festus Middle School to support our athletics program for the 2026-27 school year. The candidate must hold MSHSAA certification and participate in the 2026-2027 MS Football and Basketball seasons, plus any off-season workouts as assigned by the Head Coach.

The position offers a minimum salary of $2,910, with placement on the Festus R-VI Extra-Duty salary scale based on years of experience.

Qualifications

• MSHSAA certification required.
• Coaching or athletic leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of middle school track rules and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coaching the middle school track program at Festus Middle School for the 2026-27 year.
• Supervise and lead off-season workouts as directed by the Head Coach.
• Support athlete development, safety, and sportsmanship during practices and events.
