U-Haul Belmont is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day center operations in the absence of the General Manager. You will coordinate customer care, allocate resources, and guide a team to deliver high-quality service.

Responsibilities include hands-on tasks, staff scheduling, and ongoing training through U-Haul University, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as, long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
