Job summary

Careismatic Brands in Sherman Oaks, CA seeks an Assistant Merchant to support merchandising strategies that drive sales, profitability, and brand growth. Partner with Merchants, Product Development, Planning, Sourcing, Marketing and Operations to manage assortments and launches.

The role requires 1–2 years of merchandising experience, strong Excel and Office skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities in a fast-paced consumer products environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of merchandising experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; merchandising software a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage product assortments aligned with customer needs and brand objectives.
• Establish seasonal line reviews and assortment strategies.
• Analyze product performance and recommend assortment optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, PD, Planning, Sales and Marketing.
• Own and maintain assortment tools to illustrate merchandising strategies.
• Oversee sample management processes and GTM calendar adherence.
