Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond is seeking a merchandising professional to support seasonal assortments, product selection, pricing, and lifecycle management. You will help maintain calendars, analyze sales and inventory, and support line reviews with cross-functional teams.

The role involves market research, competitive analysis, and collaboration with vendors to ensure timely product development and collections that meet customer needs. This is a hands-on, analytic merchandising position.

Our goal is to foster a more inclusive environment where every employee visibly demonstrates inclusive behaviors and respect for individuals.Merchandise ExecutionSupport Merchants in developing seasonal assortments aligned with customer needs and business objectives.Assist in product selection, pricing recommendations, and assortment planning.Coordinate the introduction of new products and monitor product lifecycle performance.Maintain merchandising calendars and ensure milestone deadlines are met.Business AnalysisAnalyze sales, inventory, margin, and promotional performance.Identify trends and recommend opportunities to improve business results.Prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal business recaps.Monitor key performance indicators and communicate findings to merchandising leadership.Product & Assortment ManagementMaintain accurate product information within merchandising systems.Coordinate item setup, product attributes, pricing, and assortment changes.Support assortment reviews and line presentations.Monitor product availability and inventory levels.Vendor PartnershipAssist with vendor communications regarding product development, samples, purchase orders, and deliveries.Track vendor performance and follow up on outstanding issues.Coordinate sample management for meetings, photography, and marketing needs.Market & Trend ResearchMonitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer preferences.Conduct competitive shopping and pricing analysis.Identify emerging products and merchandising opportunities.Share insights to support assortment decisions.Operational SupportPrepare reports, presentations, and merchandising materials.Maintain merchandising databases and reporting tools.Support seasonal planning meetings and line reviews.Ensure merchandising processes are completed accurately and on schedule.Who We Are:We’re a passionate group of collaborative problem solvers and creative innovators, working on cutting-edge technology.
