Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Richmond, VA is seeking an Assistant Mechanic for part-time evening shifts. You will maintain bowling lanes, pinspotters, and related equipment, performing preventative maintenance and repairs as needed. Training programs are available to advance toward a mechanic role.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving in a lively, entertainment-focused environment. Prior mechanical experience is welcome but not required, and 18+ age is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with emphasis on algebra/geometry (optional).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.
• Willingness to continue training toward a mechanic role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and building equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to repairs promptly.
• Follow safety guidelines per OSHA and company policy.
• Participate in the Assistant Mechanic training program within the allotted time.
• Identify and resolve common equipment issues; assist leadership as needed.
• Understand operation of all bowling equipment in the center.
