Job summary

Thames Shipyard and Repair is seeking an Assistant Mechanic to join a busy shipyard operation between New York and Boston. The ideal candidate will perform small engine repairs and assist with vehicle systems, including brakes and front-end work.

Electrical tasks are a plus but not required, and candidates should be prepared to work outdoors in all weather. The position offers a straightforward schedule (Mon-Fri 6:30am-4:00pm, Sat 6:30am-2:00pm) with overtime options and a potential for double

Thames Shipyard and Repair is looking for a reliable, hard working Assistant Mechanic to work at one of the largest commercial ship repair facilities between New York and Boston. Willing to train the right person.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday 6:30am-4:00pm
• Saturday 6:30am-2:00pm
• Overtime available Monday-Saturday
• Double time available Sunday
