Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment is hiring an Assistant Mechanic in Connecticut. You will help maintain bowling lanes, pinspotters, and center equipment, performing preventative maintenance and responding to repairs to keep systems in top condition.

Ideal candidates have strong math skills, good communication, and a team-oriented attitude. This part-time role includes an evening and night shifts, with weekend availability, and staff discounts on bowling, arcade, and food/bev.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with emphasis on algebra or math (optional).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven team player.
• Eager to continue training to advance into a Mechanic role.
• Candidates with mechanical, electrical, or engineering experience encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and building equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and respond promptly to repairs.
• Follow safety guidelines per Lucky Strike Entertainment and OSHA.
• Complete the internal Assistant Mechanic training program within the required time frame.
• Provide assistance to leadership and report issues promptly.
• Identify and resolve common equipment issues.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance.
• Operate all bowling center equipment.

WHAT OUR ASSISTANT MECHANICS DO

Our Assistant Mechanics are essential to maintaining the top performance of our lanes, pinspotters/pinsetters, and building equipment. They skillfully conduct preventative maintenance and respond promptly to any necessary repairs.

AN ASSISTANT MECHANIC’S DAY-TO-DAY:

• Always prioritize safety by following the guidelines set by Lucky Strike Entertainment and OSHA.


• Take pride in maintaining the equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition.


• Adhere to all outlined preventative maintenance programs and monitor and perform daily center maintenance as instructed


• Embrace the opportunity to complete the Lucky Strike Entertainment Assistant Mechanic training program within the prescribed time frame.


• Providing valuable assistance to the leadership teams and promptly reporting any issues and problems as needed.


• Proficient in accurately identifying and resolving the most common issues with equipment.


• Minor preventative maintenance


• Fully understand how to operate all bowling equipment in the center

WHAT IT TAKES

• High School Diploma with a strong emphasis on algebra, geometry, and applied mathematics (Optional)


• Excellent communication skills


• Proven team player


• Eager to continue training to advance into a Mechanic role.

The pay range for this position is $18 to $20/hour.
