Job summary

Riverside Premier Rehabilitation and Healing Center is seeking an experienced Assistant MDS Director RN to join our clinical leadership team in New York. The role focuses on coordinating the MDS process, ensuring timely submissions, and supporting care planning within a high-standard skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing MDS assessments, coordinating RAI, and ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Prior MDS experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• RAC-CT certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, PPS, PDPM, and CMS regulations
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with PCC and electronic medical records preferred

Assistant MDS Director RN
Full-Time | Skilled Nursing Facility
Salary: Up to $140,000 per year

The Riverside Premier Rehabilitation and Healing Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant MDS Director RN to join our clinical leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical professional with MDS experience to grow within a dynamic skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.

Position Overview

The Assistant MDS Director RN supports the MDS Director in coordinating the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring accurate and timely MDS submissions, care planning, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with completion and oversight of MDS assessments in accordance with federal and state regulations
