C Spire in Brookhaven, MS is seeking an Assistant Market Manager to support store operations, sales, and service. You will act as second-in-command, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and market performance.

This role builds leadership, drives revenue, and develops staff while aligning with corporate policies. Evening/weekend shifts and travel may be required to support multiple stores in the region.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales and/or customer service experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a technology-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team and manage store performance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the market owner in the absence or at the direction of the Market Manager, providing leadership and oversight for all retail operations.
• Assist the Market Manager in leading the sales team to achieve or exceed gross, deactivation, and net sales goals.
• Cross-train and develop staff, including succession planning; support hiring, training, and performance feedback processes.
• Ensure all customers are helped promptly by using the all hands on deck approach and other methods to meet wait time goals.
• Monitor compliance with corporate policies and procedures, ensuring markets meet Retail Audit standards.
• Oversee market inventory processes, keeping stores stocked, organized, and compliant.
• Optimize customer experience by managing scheduling, attendance, and overtime; manage Kronos timekeeping.
• Take full responsibility for all back-office operations to ensure goals are achieved.
