Overview

The following Extra Curricular Activity position is available at the High School Level at Huntley High School for the 2026/2027 School Year: Assistant Marching Band Director Percussion.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and instruct the marching percussion section, including the drum line and front ensemble.
• Begin instructional responsibilities in the winter months with preparatory workshops leading to a formal audition in March prior to spring break.
• Hold weekly sectionals for both the drum line and front ensemble from April through July.
• Conduct rehearsals August through the end of November up to three times a week with the full marching band, including percussion, and participate in a two-week band camp in August.
• Be at all home football games and away marching band competitions.
