Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC seeks an Assistant Manager for Uncle's in Fort Stockton, TX. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team, and help hire/train a high-performing staff to deliver excellent customer service across all shifts.

The role requires open availability, a 21+ age minimum, a valid driver’s license, and a Food Safety Certification. You’ll be part of a fast-paced retail environment with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends, holidays and second/third shifts.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle and proof of insurance for deposits.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain it.
• Must be 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell promotions.
• Hire, train and lead a high-performing team focused on service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.
