Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy convenience store in Virginia. You will support the Store Manager with daily operations, assist customers, and coach a team to deliver excellent service.

This role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, and a willingness to work second or third shifts. Weekly pay, a sign-on bonus after 6 months, and opportunities for growth are offered. Health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends and holidays, and likely second/third shifts.
• Valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Food Safety Certification is required or obtainable.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Comfortable with cash handling and deposits.
• Willing to learn and grow in retail leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to stay stocked.
• Keep store clean and welcoming, including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned
