Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 260 to energize our busy convenience store. You’ll support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team, and ensure excellent customer service on every shift.

Open availability, weekend and holiday work, and a willingness to grow into store leadership are essential. The role includes inventory, deposits, and scheduling, with opportunities for weekly pay and a $1000 sign-on bonus after six months.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Comfortable with cleaning/restrooms and maintaining exterior areas like pumps.
• 21+ years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn the business and policies.
• Food Safety Certification required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Act as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and store deposits.

• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
