Job summary

GPM Investments LLC in Littleton, NC, is hiring an Assistant Manager for our Pit Stop store. You will support the Store Manager and help run daily operations with a focus on service. Open availability is a must—work weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts.

You’ll coach a team, manage cash handling, inventory, schedules, and keep the store clean and welcoming. We offer weekly pay, a monthly bonus, 401(k), PTO, health coverage, and a $1000 sign-on bonus after six months.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Reliable transportation: valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, proof of insurance.
• Physical readiness: able to clean restrooms, take out trash, and maintain outside areas.
• Minimum age 18+.
• English communication with basic math.
• Willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.

• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
