Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in daily operation of the restaurant.
• Maintain inventories, treat inventory as cash, research and report inventory variances.
• Control cash management, including accurate handling, credit card processing, and safety procedures.
• Oversee restaurant appearance and cleanliness, including food prep, restrooms, and guest areas.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health, company, and brand inspection standards.
• Plan and enforce food safety and sanitary practices, maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a productive team focused on brand promotion and customer service.
• Develop individual and team sales goals, hold contests or offer promotions, execute marketing activities (POP, suggestive selling, new item training).
• Assist with labor scheduling to ensure all shifts are covered and properly staffed.
• Provide superior customer service, respond to complaints, solicit feedback, and coach staff to maintain high service level.
• Analyze results and trends to prepare action plans; leverage strengths and address opportunities.
• Pass all internal operations training and paperwork audits; ensure brand-sponsored inspections meet or exceed standards.
• Assist GM with hiring new team members and maintain a well-staffed restaurant.
• Ensure the facility is consistently "inspection ready".
