Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Missouri is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead staff, maintain food safety, ensure a clean facility, and drive customer satisfaction. You will assist the Restaurant Manager with scheduling, inventory, reporting, and daily ops while optimizing labor and product quality in a busy restaurant.

This role requires 1+ year restaurant management, strong communication, budget awareness, and the ability to work varied shifts; we offer a team-focused culture

Qualifications

• 1+ years restaurant management experience.
• 1+ years managing operations with annual sales volume of $1+ million.
• 1+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5–10+ employees.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility through facilities and equipment maintenance and adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with task execution and completion, scheduling and cash integrity, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
• Work with the team to prepare and package customer orders in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and results.
• Understand financial reporting, including analyzing profit and loss statements, and affecting changes to capture opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager in talent acquisition efforts.

• 1+ years restaurant management experience.
• 1+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1+ million.
• 1+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5‑10+ employees.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to successfully complete a pre‑employment background check and drug screening.

• Physical Demands: Regular talking and hearing. Active involvement requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Frequent lifting/moving of items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required.
