Job summary

Domino's franchise in Des Moines is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily kitchen and front-of-house operations. You will supervise the delivery crew, handle phone and online orders, and ensure adherence to Domino's standards while contributing to a fast-paced team environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 6 months in food service, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of food service or restaurant experience
• Proven customer service skills with ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and maintain good mobility throughout shifts
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and computer software
• Fundamental math skills for inventory management and cash handling
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the kitchen and delivery crew.
• Receive Customer's orders over the phones, internet & over the counter.
• Prepare & cook customer's orders in accordance with Domino's procedures and standards.
• Basic kitchen maintenance. e.g., cleaning/maintaining cleanliness, stocking & rotating product, proofing dough, etc.
• Basic administrative duties. e.g., inventory, food ordering, scheduling, running computer reports, entering operations evaluations, handling customer concerns, closing and opening tasks, etc.
