Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stock Assistant Manager in Ankeny, IA. You will lead the night crew, oversee truck unloading, stocking, and inventory, and ensure the department runs smoothly for a great morning shift.

As an Overnight Stock Assistant Manager at Hy-Vee, you'll help keep our store running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll assist in leading the night stock crew, ensuring trucks are unloaded efficiently, merchandise is stocked and organized, and the store is set up for a great day ahead. Your work directly impacts product availability, store appearance, and the overall shopping experience our customers love. You'll receive direction and support from: District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home, and Overnight Stock Manager.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Three to five years of similar or related work experience preferred
This is a physically active role performed primarily during overnight hours. You may encounter occasional exposure to noise, vibrations, equipment movement hazards, and cleaning chemicals or solvents, with frequent exposure to dirt. The role involves working with and around heavy store equipment including forklifts, power jacks, and compactors. Safety is always a priority, and training is provided to help ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen.
