Job summary

America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department, supervise associates, and drive sales and store performance. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, managing staffing, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Sundays are closed; this position requires strong leadership and operational excellence. You will partner with store leadership to forecast staffing needs, coach staff, and maintain high service standards

Qualifications

• Optical sales background with supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and coach associates.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for team management.
• Outstanding customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong organizational skills to plan work and monitor progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze, create, and interpret financial reports.
• Demonstrated problem-solving across varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
• Optimize and oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Convey a commitment to outstanding customer service and ensure all associates do the same.
• Ensure quality standards are met; review remakes and enforce policies for compliance.
• Communicate with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office and provide store reporting as required.
• Ensure promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and known by all staff and doctors.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates and ensure day-to-day functions are completed timely.
• Assist the General Manager with staffing forecasts, recruiting, and retaining a high-caliber staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.

Job Description

What would you do? - The Specifics
