Job summary

HAZA Foods is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Victoria, Texas restaurant. You will lead the management team, oversee daily operations, ensure financial controls, and create staff schedules while delivering top customer service and a fun, family environment.

You must have at least 1 year of Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food service concept, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work 50–55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.

• 1+ year Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food-service concept is preferred.
• Flexibility to work 50–55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license in good standing and access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening and eligibility to work in the country.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under the General Manager.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls and staff scheduling.
• Interview, hire, train, and orientate team members; coach and develop staff.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and safety standards.
• Create a positive, fun, family environment and oversee team relations.

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience (high volume food service concepts preferred)
• Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, rotating shifts, incl weekends and holidays (Closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas)
• Valid DL in good standing - access to private transportation

• HS diploma or equiv - possess all documents required by state and federal law

• Under the direction of the General Manager, the AGM is responsible for supporting the GM in managing the restaurant-s daily operations, including, but not limited to:
• Overseeing restaurant-s daily operations
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met
• Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant
