Job summary

Wendy's is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant operations, drive sales and maintain high standards of customer service. The AGM will coach and develop staff, manage schedules and ensure food safety and financial controls in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment.

You will report to the General Manager and play a key role in promotions, training and building a strong team culture. This role offers opportunities for advancement within a well-known national brand.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food service concept.
• Flexibility to work 50–55 hours per week, incl weekends/holidays.
• Valid DL in good standing; access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• HS diploma or equivalent; possess documents required by state and federal law.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills; customer service focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant's daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
