Job summary

Wendy's in Houma, LA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the restaurant team, drive sales, and maintain operational metrics. The AGM partners with the GM to coach staff, oversee daily operations, and uphold food safety standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience in a high-volume food-service concept.
• Flexibility to work 50–55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.
• Consent to background screening.
• HS diploma or equivalent; possess all documents required by state and federal law.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations under GM supervision.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orient staff.
• Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff and manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
