Charter Foods is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations. You will lead shifts, ensure adherence to Charter Foods and brand standards, and guide team members to deliver safe, quality food with exceptional service.

You will be responsible for inventory control, financial tracking, and maintaining a safe, productive work environment. The position requires 18+ years old, 1–3 years of supervisory experience, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry out trash containers, and place them in an outside bin.
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant.
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during 80% of shift time.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in running great shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards.
• Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile, seek help when needed, and guide others.
• Ensure Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability.
• Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.
